About
Welcome, I’m Amber. I design thoughtful, plant-based journeys for travellers who want their adventures to reflect their values. Grand Adventures was created for solo, eco-conscious women who care about how they move through the world: what they eat, where they stay, and who benefits from their presence. Travel should nourish you. It shouldn’t compromise your ethics or exhaust you with research.
I don’t just book trips. I vet accommodations and operators through a sustainability lens, and ensure fully plant-based experiences (without awkward conversations or last-minute scrambling). I help you avoid extractive tourism practices and advocate for you when plans shift or details matter. My work is grounded in curiosity, care, and responsibility for the planet, for local communities, and for you. Whether you're exploring close to home along the Grand River or travelling further afield, your journey can feel aligned, prepared, and meaningful. If that sounds like the kind of travel you want, I’d love to support you. Reach out using the form below and let's start planning your next grand adventure!

Land Acknowledgement
Grand Adventures is based on the Haldimand Tract, land granted to the Haudenosaunee of the Six Nations of the Grand River, spanning six miles on either side of the Grand River. This territory has long been home to the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Neutral Peoples.
I acknowledge the enduring presence, knowledge, and stewardship of Indigenous Peoples, whose relationships with these lands and waters continue today.
As a travel advisor, I believe travel carries responsibility. I am committed to working in ways that respect Indigenous sovereignty, support Indigenous-owned businesses where appropriate, and encourage travellers to learn about the histories and living cultures of the places they visit.
For those who wish to deepen their understanding of this land and how to travel with care, I invite you to explore resources such as Six Nations Tourism and Whose Land.
